Digital Automatic Melting Point Apparatus (VSI-44) is designed for quick and accurate detection of melting point. It has advance features, easy to use an indispensable table top instrument. This Digital Automatic Melting Point Apparatus has an arrangement to hold the capillary containing the sample in uniformly heating media. The temperature is indicated on a digital display readable in 1.0^oC. When the sample melts, the heating is automatically cut-off and the digital display showing the temperature remains on the indicator till it is cleared. No Silicon oil or other bath is required as heating media. Range 2.0^oC above room temperature to 350^oC.

It is highly stable and accurate instrument. The apparatus consists of silicon oil bath of about 200 ml capacity, covered with teflon cover, fitted with a special type of oil immersion heater. The apparatus consists of in-built magnetic stirrer, with indicator for precisely adjusting the rate of heating of silicon oil-bath, an On/Off switch, a pilot lamp, with magnifying glass, a temperature probe and a glare free background illuminator. The temperature is indicated on a digital display readable in 0.1^oC. It has provision for holding the melting point.
